To pass, you need 9 points in every part
The test has four parts worth 15 points each. Points don't add up across parts: below 9 in any one part means you fail, however good the others are. So find your weak part early.

What's inside

Questions
Is this the official trainer?
No. It is unofficial and not connected with VIAA or any state institution. The tasks follow the public description of the A2 test format and the official 2026 sample.
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No. The trainer opens in your browser. Your results stay in your browser; there is no account.
How do I open full access on another device?
After paying you get an 8-character access code. Enter it on the «Full access» screen on any phone or computer.
My Latvian is very basic. Is it for me?
Yes. The tasks are A2 level, all explanations are in English, Russian or Ukrainian, and you can slow the audio down and read the transcript.
How are writing and speaking checked?
As in the test: by the examiners' criteria. You compare your answer with a model and tick what you covered, and the trainer counts the points. In speaking you can record yourself and listen back.
